Jessica Benjamin has been with our firm since 2017. She received her master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling in December of 2003 from Auburn University, a field that is uniquely focused on serving individuals with disabilities. She has over 7 years of valuable experience serving clients with disabilities. Before joining our firm, she worked with the Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services in a counseling position helping TANF recipients with disabilities obtain Social Security disability benefits or she assisted them with the support that they needed to obtain employment. Her experience in this position and her expertise in case management and disabilities sparked her interest in working in the field of Social Security disability law. Ms. Benjamin’s roles in our firm include Disability Development Director and Non-Attorney Representative (EDPNA). She oversees the medical record development of our cases at the hearing level and represents clients at Social Security disability hearings. Her favorite part of the job is calling clients to congratulate them after they have been approved for benefits.
Ms. Benjamin enjoys singing in the choir at church. She also enjoys gardening and watching her favorite shows on Hulu and Netflix. Ms. Benjamin can be reached at 334-591-2163. Her e-mail is [email protected].
